Where can I buy NEW aluminum grooved parts or material for my 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury console. Go's on the glove box door and front and rear pieces on top of console. Thanks.

Having replaced an original console I had on my '63 with one from another car, I didn't find parts all that available as these are a rare find as it is. Don't know of 'new' suppliers; but could be some ingenuity to fabricate the pieces from extruded aluminum if your pieces can't be refurbished. Maybe send a photo of yours, there's a couple of guys on the forum who stock tons of old B parts or might know of sources. Not being concerned about the total OEM look, I went with a console that provided several added features and it's something that can be reversed..

I have known Joe for a long time and I still have a hard time spelling his name. Its SUCHY. I just called him earlier today. He was unable to supply anything for 62 or 63 consoles. Dodge or Plymouth. I am going to try and reproduce this material. I have an appointment with a tool & die shop tomorrow to see if I can get the ball rolling on this stuff. Maybe Special T unlimited can help.

If you want to take the time to send me your part specs and maybe a photo of the original I can run this by a buddy who works at a machine shop to see what he has to say. He has made up some parts for me during my resto. Just a thought..
