Im thinking of selling my 65 coronet 2dr sedan post . What kind of price should ask ? selling as a rust free roller that needs needs paint.

Ive recently traded with a friend for a 63 savoy roller and a 64 330 roller. Both rust free bodies that are complete minus engine and trans.
I think he was asking around 6-7k each for them before we started trading.
I also bought a 64 Plymouth Belvedere post car a while back for 9k. It had average race car paint and a roll cage, mini tubs, etc.
Looks like a great project. I wish my plate weren't full.....

:popcorn::popcorn: Hopefully a road legal vehicle, when it has an engine in it.

A roller without drive train but complete. Was it a original Big Block ? 4 speed ? Those 2 Items can bring more money than if it was a Slant or Poly. My guess is a asking price of 10K. Complete finished early B Bodies usually top out at $30-35K unless it is/was a Big Block and other options.

That is a Great Looking Car, with a Lot of Potential ! Can you share the Paint Code from it ? If I ever get to work on my '65, and decide to paint it, That is the color it will end up as, Thanks...

It was factory color dark turquoise metallic. Trunk lid is factory ruby red metallic.

I know a guy with a 64 hardtop, 6 cylinder, manual on the column, rust free, wheelwells extended a bit and wider steel rims made, $8,500 firm.
I tried to get it for less, because I already have too many projects, but I believe it's worth that, I'm in NY though.

i wish mine was in that condition, id be bombing it right now!

i paid 3400 for my post 5 yr ago, with no title...recently fixed that problem.

it was a /6 manual 3 sp originally. the body is good, but needs a floor and trunk. i got the car with 2 V8 K frames, a 4 sp, and the correct 4sp colum

It's hard to say, What would you like to get? Looks like a nice 2 door post. I have a 64 I brought 13 years ago ( had to have a post car) and paid way to much. Market is down from then.

In my experience, and depending on how fast you want to move it, it's somewhere between a $5500 and $7500 car. No offense intended. Title would be a big plus. You're probably aware how much fun it is to get a title in Minnesota now days.

Has a lot going for it in the 'look' department. Project cars don't seem to be bringing anywhere near the kind of money they used to. I've lost count of how many guys I've talked to that are 'too old', 'burned out', 'no longer interested in all the work'.

I don't see any mention of title in original post (has one or does not).

I do drive it on occasion.

Oh! So it has a drivetrain, but you plan to pull it, and sell the body? How is it setup now, big or small block? Cable shift, '65 trans??

Thx, Lefty71

Is the trunk from a Coronet 500? Looks like it has a medallion on there. I don't think the base model cars had that. I think I have the correct trunk for you car up in the attic but you are a long ways away.

Your car looks like an interesting project. I'm sure if you hauled it to a big Mopar swap meet you would get some decent offers.

The trunk lid is from a 65 4dr coronet 440. The car is in very good shape.

I agree, but just try to find one for what$$ you really feel such roller is actually worth. Takes lots of $$$ and work to make it into a $25-30,000 car! Then the market for such shrinks every day!!! because of " too old, burned out, no longer interested in all the work" like said, and add the fact $30000 buys a pretty decent MODERN FAST Challenger!!????/
Just glad I found my $1000 more door 62 Dart this year!! ha

Wow, wish I had the extra cash and space. It would go good with my HT 500. Good luck with it.

7k is possible, how is the sheet metal? Floors, cowls etc
