You have always been able to run a 4150 based carb in the N/SS F/X classes (9.75 and quicker index) in NMCA. NMCA also allows sheet metal tunnel rams in F/X. Victory doesn't allow either. This year NMCA will allow Holley's on any N/SS car. Mine has been able to run A/FX (9.25) with a cast manifold and Carter/Eddy style carbs in any weather conditions. Most everyone else runs Holley's in F/X.

I'm pretty sure if you run slower than 9.75, you can still run dual 4150 holleys.
I remember running 9.80s in my hemi with a Mopar Performance Crossram and ran dual 770 super stock holleys.

didn't the nmca just change the carb rule? I thought I read you can run any carb you want because holley sponsors the n/ss class.

Retiring January 10 after 44+ years of service with the same company. I have several home projects planned that will get me into Spring. After that...who knows.

W900b right ?. You see a lot more of the w900L's. I had some L's and 1 b ( tri -axle's) a couple of years ago, cool trucks. The guys driving them keep hurting stuff because of the c-15 being flashed over so i had to give up and get Granite's w/ autos. Always liked the Kenworth's and Pete 379's.

Yes sir, 2019 W900L. My next truck (2021) might be a 4 axle that way I can go from the 40 ton RGN trailer that I have now, to a 60 ton.
Where in NJ are you? I was born and raised in Union County. I moved to NC in 2015.

Ive been keeping tabs on Wooks and his Charger has been getting lots of work and upgrades this last while. A pile of weight has come out and he's going to be a tough competitor in 2020. He's been bitten hard by the racing bug.

Work / progress on the Dart is a daily thing and it's going back together good over here.

Front end is together now. New AMD bumper, headlight doors, grill cleaned up like new.

Rear is back together, new AMD bumper, tail lights, markers, etc.

Trunk is finished, new trunk seal has since been installed as well.

Kill switch rod fabricated and installed. (Borrowed the drill press knob, proper one on order)

Exterior is done and the headliner has started to go in. Had to pull the front and rear windows back out, I hate doing headliners..

I don't think my fuel system is keeping up with the new motor combination. So I have removed the 3/8" fuel line and installing 1/2" fuel line with a Aeromotive electric fuel pump and regulator.

I went through that with my 64 at the track last summer and had to increase everything from the fuel cell outlet up to the carb, including larger needles/seats.

Get a Product engineering fuel pump and regulator with return if you havent bought the Aeromotive pump yet.

Not much change for the coming year . Tweak the carb and get used to the new Hoosier radials . Try some different rear shock settings .
And biggest DONT change anything for the whole season .
Season starts with t&t on 10th Jan with national event on 17th Jan

Feb 22 and Feb 23 next outing for me.
A test & tune weekend prior to the big March Meet Race March 4,5,6,7 and 8th.
Going to get my Competition License at the Test & Tune so I can go under 9.99 at the March Meet.
Hopefully will have the car setup so I can dial in at somewhere between 8.80 and 9.00 at the March Meet.
