New Years 2020 What are you guys doing

Going by the Gregorian calendar, which had no Year Zero, the next decade starts in 2021.

Most of these sites https://www.bing.com/search?q=official+start+of+new+decade&pc=MOZI&form=MOZTSB boil down the argument to this:

Equipped with this knowledge, you can go ahead and celebrate the beginning of the twenties when the New Year Countdown reaches zero at midnight on January 1, 2020. And one year later, you can party extra hearty again to mark the start of the 203rd decade!
 
on New years eve
stay home & probably go next door for a drink or 2

been running around like a chicken with my head cut off lately
time for some 'me time'

it ain't worth driving anywhere on New Years eve anyway

watch some TV/DVR old ****
or football on the 1st, New Years day
my Oregon Ducks playing in the Rose Bowl

Remember the number line from elementary math?
It starts at zero.
The first year is zero then one, etc.
A decade would be 0 thru 9. Year 10 is what? Zero.
Count to 9 starting with zero. How many numbers were there?
If you started with one then what were the 12 months before that?
 
But it is the first year. If its not then what is the first 12 months before 1?

And zero IS a whole number.
 
Can anyone spec this out in Star-date? Mr. Spock - please acknowledge.
 
Wow - this is a deep discussion! Guess we could expand this to our age...we begin our 'years' at one so if we celebrate our 50th birthday isn't it actually entering 51st year? Ok, I got this watch...anyone know where I can find a band for it?
