This guy has I rotisserie and k frame cradle for sale.
He used it on a 67 cuda.
He wants $700 for the rotisserie and $300 for the cradle.
Does anyone know if there would be fitment issues or if this would all fit with no problems? I understand I would most likely have to change the centre tube.

From what I have seen around here it seems like a good deal. I think he said it was the one from KMS tools.
Any insight would be appreciated.

I agree Wayne. Man he does nice work! And those welds. Very clean and well thought out. I drove up to pick mine up. But I don't think Kevin would care to go for that long of a cruise. He does do a nice job wrapping them up for shipment though. When I was there he had one on a pallet ready to go.
Here is a picture of Stan's work all painted up. In storage mod.

I gave those KMS a good look and passed. To much Chinesium to have my Charger twirling around on.

I talked to Stan and got a quote. Good price and clearly quality.
Trying to cheap out!
This is why I came with the questions.
Thanks guys, I'll rethink my cheapness

Cheapness is not always a good way to go. The first rotisseri my car was on just about went to the ground because of poor construction, and no ability to balance the car. Oh I know there is lots of them out there. After we mounted my car the first time on the "home made" rotisseri. We were all standing there admiring what a fine job we did getting her up there. Then all of a sudden we heard a load SNAP!
Like I said she wasn't balanced(and couldn't be) and the weld had to give where the tension was on it. Thank GOD the top weld did the trick to hold her there until we supported her and rewelded the axis point. My 23000 miler hanging by a thread.
Once we welded her up she was ok because just like our budget. She balanced herself. lol
Hated to hijack your thread Kevin. Just wanted to let you know what could happen to our priceless treasures.
I was so so lucky. Everybody wonders why I go to church! lol

Looks to me like the me like the metal you used was ‘used’ and clearly fatigued, cracked and rusted prior to the snap. It didn’t break on the weld. One has to wonder if this would have happened if you used new metal.?

Now for Kevin, the only one I see for KMS tools is a rotisserie rated at 2200lb’s, Which seems kinda low to me, but now I’m wondering what a car weighs minus the drivetrain and interior. Probably pretty close to that? I never like using anything or having something run etc near its technical limits. I always prefer over engineering, for first and foremost your personal safety and then the preservation of your car/belongings. Can’t speak to Stanton rotisserie as I don’t have one or haven’t seen it in person but at a glance it sure looks good!
