Gentlemen,
My 360 came to me with a really garbage welded together throttle cable bracket, and now that I have swapped in a performer rpm intake it is not tall enough for the correct geometry. I would like to add a 1" spacer as well, and that would really throw off the cable geometry. Does anyone know an oem or aftermarket bracket that will fit my application? I searched topics on here but couldn't find anything.

67 Satellite, 360 swap, automatic trans, edelbrock performer intake w/ edelbrock carb and additional 1" carb spacer. Probably about 2" taller than stock in total.

Thanks!

:D:D:D ^^^^ Bingo! Was just trying to find it but he got it. Try those and a longer cable.

You can run a 1" spacer and a Performer RPM under the hood clearing everything???Man I would think for sure that would hit the hood, especially under torque flex.:D:D Just curious as to why you went the dual plane route with a spacer rather than a med to tall single plane. I am curious as to when the spacer removes the benefit of dual plane and the single plane becomes better......things that make you go hmmm....
:thumbsup:

Good points, here's the rebuttal:lol::
1) hood scoop allows assy to clear. With rpm intake (non-air gap, bought used very reasonable price) and thin fiber spacer (for heat soak) and stock air cleaner, the stackup barely cleared stock hood. Mancini drop base air cleaner let me run a little thicker spacer and clear stock hood. With the super stock hood r023 hood scoop and opening I can do whatever the hell I want under there.

2) I use a spacer with a divider to maintain dual plane effect. It is more for heat soak to carb than anything else. Fuel boiling off and a difficult hot start is a big annoyance. Spacer keeps carb cold. Yes, I could run an electric fuel pump and pre-pressurize before starting. Or I could get e-free gas. But those are inconvenient options where I live, so carb spacer it is.
