8-3/4 Axle question

If you need an accurate measurement, I have an original A body axle, and small bolt and large bolt axles to measure.
 
Thanks for the information and offers of measurements fellas, I really need to get the car on a lift for real numbers, but it looks like the A body axle and common 10" wheels will work. I have an A body axle or two laying around, and was hoping to use one, as I can avoid narrowing one, and it makes ordering axles shafts easy.

The difference in question is the axle flange "standout", the dimension between the axle housing flange and the outside of the axle shaft flange. The SBP A-body dimension is narrower than any other 8 3/4".
