We lost our girl Winnie back in March of 2018. Still don't have the heart to get another yet. Glad you got a good one there. He would certainly keep me off your property!

It's always ruff to loose a dog ! But !!! I rather of had the dog and lost it to old age ,then never at all ! My dogs are my kids God help the dumb azz that would try and hurt one!
City limit is 4 registered dogs ! I usally have 4 I'm down to 3 because of the human baby, I haven't gone to the pound looking yet! I prefer the old ones people ignore!

As for the bear cub ! Haaa that's funny !

What's the big guy weighing?

I am 7 years with Jack and he weighed 188 pounds after getting some growths removed. These guys have lots of love to give, and drool even more.

wow...... 188 is huge! and yes, they are the best!

Rebel weighed in at 140 almost a year ago. I don't expect him to reach 150, but we will see.......... his tail wags like a propeller :)
 
I'm sure it's bittersweet. We had to put our beloved "firstborn" thanksgiving weekend. He was a 10.5 yr old brindle boxer. We have 7yr old twin boys that are getting on, I'm sure it's hitting me the most.
We are definitely going to get another one...however not anytime soon. I had 3yrs to properly train him before we had the kids...I don't want to bring a puppy in here until my boys are ready.

Sorry for your loss, especially at that time of year. Sounds like you have a good plan for the next one.
 
It's never easy to lose a pet no matter how young or old they are are even how big. Never thought something that was 2 lbs could affect my life so much....

well now knowing i'll be home for the next 6 mos...we put a deposit on another boxer puppy... he was born Monday out of a litter of 5. we should be getting him in about 7wks.
