Looking for a TSB or similar number to give to my Dealer when calling service for an appointment. When filling tank, car stutters, stalls for the first minute or two only then runs perfect. I stopped topping to the second click. Doesn’t seem to help. Only time the problem happens. If Linda fills it and it stalls leaving the station, she will buy a new Charger. I want to be informed before calling my asshole, piece of **** Dealer from hell. Normandin CDJ
San Jose. Unable to find a reference number. After filling, there is a gurgling sound for extended time similar to a bathroom sink. Anyone. Thanks.

Wow, thank you. I will call Monday with that TSB # and report back.

Sounds like a stuck open purge solenoid to me. Common to stall engine immediately after fill up. Solenoid sticks open allowing full manifold vacuum to get to the tank and pulling fuel directly into the intake manifold.

Left a message with Ray @ Normandin CDJ Service. Gave him the vin and TSB number. I’ll keep posting for your amusement as this continues.

Called at 1 went to voicemail. No call back, so I called at 4 and left another message.

Run don’t walk from here. In 09, they wanted 45k for an R/T Challenger. Mark up cause of demand. Got the same car for about 30 out the door back east. Rotten bastards. 30 was a good price then, I know they’re less now. Love my 3 Dodges. Hate the Dealer network.

Can’t even get to a live person in Service. Second day. May have left too much information on the initial call. Should have said I need the 60k megadollar tune up.
Jerry. 408 463-6440.

That sucks Dennis, sorry to hear that. Our local dealership is really great. It must be an East coast thang!:D Hopefully they respond Soon.

Linda took it in. Before I could get there she called and said they have a tank there and will honor the TSB. Gas is full, and they want it run down near empty. Bastards could have told me by phone. Left three messages and talked with Camille. Messages left with Jerry A.
Who the hell has gas tanks in stock for an 06 Charger?

I have a few bad experiences with Normandin myself. They 've been in business like 100 years, but the original family sold out years ago.
When I lived there I used Falore Chrysler in Sunnyvale, but Chuck Falore sold out when he retired. Believe it or not Santa Cruz Nissan Dodge VW has two really good service mechanics that I kind of know, but that would not be convenient for you.

Linda finagled a Loaner! Says the engine shuts off at red Lights.

Normandin (Dealer) said if we run the fuel down, they have a tank in stock and would be done the same day. Took it down the Coast and it is under 1/8. Told her, ok it will be ready tomorrow. Anyway shop rate is $210 an hour.

Spark plugs 600. Transmission fluid and filter 400. Lost their minds.

Linda picked up the Charger. Fueled it and the problem seems to be solved. No stalling. The bad news is that the bumper cover has a good sized gap on both sides. Was not there before. Speculating that the bumper cover had to come off to change the tank. Called Jerry, he says bring it back. **** ups.
