Wow, this one took a hard left turn lol. I drink very little bottled water and mostly keep it here for the stormy times. Also have a Brita water pitcher and recycle all paper and plastics. It's like another trash day for me :D
Not sure why off topic stuff does not get deleted.

I'm sure the trolls will go running and telling them to install them after reading this, but atleast the customer may benefit from this information,if nothing else!
Yeap and that is part of the reason why they view these threads.......They also take information from build threads and pass it off as their own knowledge......

Thats QC for ya.....

well, if they use the knowledge to make their products better, I’m for that. Of course they’re not going to name their sources, that’s not good TV. Unless it’s parts “donated” from a vendor, then they’ll pimp the company, show the company name on the boxes, put stickers and boxes in conspicuous places to stage the shot, you know, the reality TV recipe!

In all the years I have been an avid FBBO reader, I have never seen the amount of bitching and bickering as this thread has brought out. I thought we were better than that. We are Mopar lovers........................MO

It is not parts I am referring to ......It is specific historical statements made about OE correctness.....

If it related to improving parts and assembly better...That I do agree with you.....

Reading this thread is a choice...Not a requirement.....click away....

That's ok
Its giving them ulcers as they lurk :luvplace:

All I know is, I are less about putting paint marks on an 8 3/4.

The TV car shows are as diverse as all the hobbiest, so I guess there is a slot for everything.

Forget the rumors, GYC does NOT buy OEM tire air. They do give a $1000 discount to the customer, when supplying on an $80,000 resto bill though.

Those plastic splash shields may seem like they are not important, but I have seen first hand they are critical to the longevity of the fenders. My friend and I test fitted those AMD Cuda fenders on the guinea pig, my 71 340 Cuda, no less than 20 times to insure proper fitment, and the Challenger fenders were fitted almost as many times on my wife's Challenger convertible, and to see a fender get destroyed because someone doesn't bother to put a plastic part back in place just sucks!

The difference is you have some here that are relating to correctness and doing things right and you have some that just chime in that do not care of either......

At least we have people like you trying to point out what is correct and the why?....

Drank well water most of my life. Plenty or iron, calcium and manganese. :D I'll start drinking beer again before I buy cases of bottled water.
Interesting you say that; I don't care for most bottled water either and have had more than my share
of well water, especially in younger years.
I actually ran about 1/4 mile of waterline up the ridge here myself (don't ever use a ditchwitch
walk-behind to go up inclines - ask me how I know) 20+ years ago just so my new place would
have "city" water due to most wells in the area being heavy sulfur content.

That is, until someone offered me a bottle of this one day:

It tasted just like the well water I remembered as a kid, especially the awesome well water at
my grandparents' place out in another part of the state.

Most bottled water tastes funny to me and come to find out, there's a reason why - a lot of it
is nothing more than municipal ultility water that's been through various processes before being
bottled.
The Cumberland Gap water, however, is considered "artisanal" - it's "virgin" water straight from
an underground source that's under natural pressure and comes to the surface without human
aid. It doesn't hurt that the source is within a huge national park, either, so there's no development
anywhere near it. The bottler runs it through sediment filters and straight in the bottle it goes.
Just friggin awesome water. We do buy it by the case.
Wish to heck the city water I did all the work to hook up to was half as good. :)

^^^ Well if that stuff makes you grow things ,let's hope it doesn't live up to it name.
