I heard there was a huge deal, expensive collector guitars
selling at Mecum too
is/was not televised I guess
A guy, the Guitarist from Cheap Trick
(brain fart can't remember his name)
anyway he was there promoting & talking about it
he was with the commentators doing the cars play by play
some Less Paul or Fender or whatthehellever sold for like $275k
or more can't remember the details, he said that was cheap too

Rick Nielson.
He and Robin Zander live in FL and Rick has a warehouse full of stuff here.
Been on "American Pickers".
I was a "roadie" (the only one) for one of my guitarist friends in a band that opened for Cheap Trick at a wing fest a few years ago.
We saw Robin parked next to us, reading the owners manual for his new nissan pathfinder and telling his kids on the phone "OK, daddy has to go to work now..."
We found that amusing.
