RIP Kookie Burns

never heard of him until I saw him in a Bundy's episode....... and I still don't know who he is :fool:

77 Sunset Strip! A Valet parking cool cars driven by gorgeous woman. Generational. Costarring with Efrim Zimbalist Jr before the FBI Show days. After that I watched Dennis the Menace.

Lend me your comb...sung by Connie Francis.
He was the game show host at the dance in Grease.
His contract with one of the studios at one time kept him out of a few big roles in other shows and movies.

Reminds me how old I'm getting watching that show as a kid. My folks were T-Bird lovers we had over the span two '57's, two 60's, and a '66. I drove the 66 for a while in HS as my mom car-pooled and was nice enough to let me have it most of the time (well she had me running a lot of errands for her too). That was sure a golden age for cars, music, duck-tails and oil to make the dew, and drive-in's. If I remember right, in the pilot of the show Kookie was a bad guy and they changed his role after that as a good guy. Could be all the teenagers that got attracted to the show so they didn't want to kill him off.
