What did you do to your Mopar today?

Well, THAT didn't work. There are just too many compound angles to that little dash to door transition. It's a complex little spot. Makes my head hurt trying to figure it out so i'm going to use the factory Audi door panels that they already figured out. lol. Oh well, it was worth a try. Only out about 20 bucks. Decided to buy new Audi door panels instead and try rotating the dash down so the panels will mount straight to the door. Will work out the many issues that arise from using those panels. Lots of modifications to come to those panels. Ought to have them in hand by the end of next week.

Your original plan of forming mesh had possibilities, but you could have also filled the area with expanding foam and then carved it to shape after it hardened. Then covered in 'glass like you originally planned.

It can be added to the door out of metal to follow the dash to the end of it's run.

New insulation, carpet and put in new board/insulation behind the rear seat. Also she got an oil change and tune up including new plug wires. Took her out for a nice drive yesterday (it’s snowing today) and I gotta say I never get tired of stepping on the gas with this beautiful lady.

Very good re-pop tail light lenses shipped for $98.

It's been a while, going for a early early morning drive through the city and canyons.

Left at 4:30 am, came back around 6:45 am.
Took Sepulvida down to Wilshire, then onto the 405 South to PCH. PCH to Kanan Dume Road to the 101 FWY.
Approx. 80 miles, ave. speed 45-65 mph, maybe faster on the fwy and PCH with little to no traffic first hour.
2nd hour not bad with light traffic on the 101 back home, passing everyone with little effort.

Can handles great but the bench seat and lap belt are holding me back.
Once I get the buckets and harness it should be a lot better.
My positioning on the bench seat/pedals/steering wheel just isn't great right now but still fun to drive.

I did make a stop at Leo Carrillo State Park not on the map so a few more miles/time, photo seems much lighter.

Have my back window out so I decided to take the opportunity to refresh the package tray. It was in nice shape, but very faded and stained.

Pulled brake drums and shoes looking for my swish swish sound at low speed. Quick look didn't show anything obvious. Going to measure from axle face to lip on backing plate in 8 or more locations to see if BP is tweeked. Maybe sitting around for 35 years and moving it from my mother's shed to my house and moved several times there.

Pulled the front suspension out of the bird today with the engine still in Rebuilding suspension and sending steering box out for firm feel
