For Sale - Not mine *** Belongs to buddy - 69 Dodge Charger

Super nice car and some really great options. Yes it’s over priced for sure but maybe they just dont know where to start. A friend of the uncle saw a hemi something or other sell for that so that’s what they think they know why its worth 175k, yada yada....
I Wish them luck, if they want it sold the price will come down

THATS Y I came HERE first guys and gals!
There’s a lot to this car BUT I’m just doing what I was asked to do.
Any proof of comparison cars sold recently so I can break it to him?

Yes, I bought this 38,000 mile 68 Charger R/T 3 months ago for less than 1/3 of your friends asking price.

If your friend is serious about selling it for a realistic price, send me a p/m.

Quick question. Why didn't your friend join and list the ad? Why are people listing for sale ads for a friend? If he is capable of owning a very expensive car, is he also able to operate a computer and join FBBO himself?

I think he kinda mentioned his friend wasn’t tech savvy by saying he actually just got his first ‘answering machine’
It’s hard to believe, but a good percentage of the population still doesn’t have a computer

There is lots of proof of comparison but usually it isn’t up to the buyer to go to great lengths to educate the seller who has no clue what they are worth. It usually never ends up well either. The seller almost always thinks the buyer is trying to one up them and rip them off. I suggest you spent some time looking around to determine what its worth and try to educate him yourself as you seem to be the trusted source.

Value of a car is super dependant on condition and rarity. Chargers are in demand for sure, but if you want some good advise here, drop AT LEAST $100,000.00 off the asking price and now you’ll be looking at the very highest end of the scale of that cars value, again depending on condition. It still likely isn’t even worth $75k as a car in that range would have to be a super low mile mint condition survivor or a fresh rotisserie style restored unit. The car you have there is likely, again dependant on condition, worth somewhere in the range of $40-60k, maybe 65? If you could have way better pictures, show the engine and interior, discover if any oem parts like the original wheels are included etc, this will help your cause.

If you need more help contact me in a private message and We can discuss it in greater detail.
