1969 Road Runner Rust Bucket Project

Hello Everyone, I've been looking at the site for about a year. Never really said anything just looked at all the wonderful cars and hoped one day I could buy something that I could restore or build myself. I looked at 3 cars before I was left to make this final choice. I looked at a 69 Super Bee, 1970 Cuda, and a 69 RR. I bought the 69 RR cause of the color and the 4 speed. The other two cars were way more rusted out and didn't have the original drive trains or any. This car at least has that going for it. Anyway I tried to decode the fender tag and because it's so little with options, I was wondering if someone could help me with a better break down of it. Here is a picture, and looking forward to sharing more pics of the car. Thanks for any info and help

Black post car with a white interior, 4-speed, 26 inch radiator, air grabber hood. Cool car. The car was built at Lynch Road. Their tags usually didnt show as many codes as cars made at other plants.

I think I remember seeing this car advertised for sale. Every thing I look for in a Roadrunner. Good color combo, 4-speed, air grabber, axle package with 26" radiator. I have too many projects now, but that hasn't stopped me from buying something I think I have to have.
 
Ok here it is. Today I got to fully inspect the car. It will need some work. It has rust but it's not as bad as it looks. A lot of parts can be saved off this car. The motor turns, the 4 speed moves into all the gears, the Dana is in the rear. It has to be derusted but a lot of original parts can be saved, they just need proper cleaning and restoration work. I really can't wait to restore this car proper. It will be a project.

I have interest into knowing about Lynch Road. I want to know where is that plant? This car came from the north east coast. I also am very curious if you ever seeen anther RoadRunner with bottom body trim paint. I'll have to take a picture, but the bottom of the car has a white stripe going from the lower fender all the way to the quarter. The vinyl top was white I don't know what code that is on the decode tag.

Chrysler no longer builds cars in that location. Lynch Road was in Detroit, the last cars made there were the R bodies in 1981.
 
My Coronet is Lynch Road too. May 1969.
 
Don’t get SoCal and Arizona car guys buying rusty stuff from the NorthEast. The rest of the Country is hunting California, Arizona, Texas, Florida etc cars. Must be the challenge.
 
Very cool X9 Runner, in the 80's, I had a 69 Coronet R/T auto bucket console car, X9 black, H2W white interior,white butt stripe. I should have kept that one and restored it. But,....who knew all the reproduction stuff would explode on the market in the coming decades. At least I have pictures and memories of the car.:)

I have this car at my house in the midwest. I work in California every few weeks back and forth. I'm also not a native Californian.

I really wanted a Mopar, So I really like 1969 Super Bee, Road Runner, Coronet, GTX and I really like 1970 Cuda. I found all the cars I like as projects and for my budget I'm just trying to get something untouched and if it's rough I'll take my time to restore a solid car. I really like black Mopar cars and to find this car, in the colors and really untouched with many of the original parts still there. I went for it. I really wanted this Cuda which had massive rust and was asking way to much.
