Nice almost bought a Jensen few years ago, I like that six pac set up on this one

what i like is the factory fitted air cond. that was not available with a six pack in the US but in was " no worries " in the UK

I think the Jensen 440 SP (330 HP SAE Rated) was only 1971 Model, and I don't know if any were left hand drive?
Looks like it would be a decent start for a restoration, but I'd guess the rockers are totally rusted out.
My '73 Jensen Interceptor way less rust, and the rockers still have rust holes in the underside of the rockers.

Crazy stuff! If it were me (trying to sell), I think I'd go ahead and throw a starter in it right??!! Crikey, lol

Is that a York compressor?

it looks smaller.

I've seen Yorks installed on six pack and shaker hood cars

One heck of a remote oil filter setup there. I bet changing plugs is a real....treat. :)

Pretty cool looking ride with a great heartbeat. Does look like it would be a bit of a treat to work on...

They may have been cool in the 70's, but today a Jensen is very much long in the tooth. It may have an American engine, transmission and gearshift selector, but keep in mind that the rest of it is a crappy British design with wiring that is equally as bad as British teeth.

Pull the engine & part out the rest.

Certainly not a £35 car. Pretty much the value is a steering wheel and engine. But thats it.

Im not sure who in there right mind would even consider one of those.

Wiring is bad on mine.
For a Company that went out of business in 1976, there is still a few places that service and sell replacement parts.
You can still get reproduction sheet metal for most of the car. Problem is the cars were hand built, so no replacement part seems to fit exactly and usually needs some work and adjustments.
Re-doing all the leather interior would be really expensive if the interior is shot. That car looks like the interior is in decent shape, but showing wear on the front seats.

well I'd wouldn't say no , people just don't know
problem is in the change over to aust. dollar
35,000 GBP to AUD = 65,936.68 Australian Dollars

I've always loved the Jensens. I remember seeing one about 25 years ago at a local swapmeet. I should have bought it.
