Tesla claims another victim

Henry Ford didn’t need a $7500 tax incentive to sell his cars. He figured it out. Let Elon figure it out. For taxpayers to subsidize a $50k car is outrageous.
People in the midwest who don’t care about these cars with frozen door handles subsidize the wealthy on both Coasts.

But Ford GETS the same tax incentive for their electric offerings. Henry Ford failed at his first two car companies too. The Dodge Brothers got him going on his third try.

Henry, John, and Horace got zero government help. I want Tesla to succeed. It’s in my neighborhood. I drive by the Plant. But Musk does not walk on water. Solara was American too. Failed after huge tax pump. The Holier than thou around here fly down the Diamond Lane, and plug in at the County Lot for free. Why the hell should we as taxpayers pay for all this bullshit. Taxpayers didn’t build the gas stations back in the day. American Innovation, Vision, and guts got it done. Everybody is on the dole these days. Sick of it.

How so? Wouldn’t it be the same as any other investigation? I can’t see producing any vehicle with an “autonomous mode” and not having an extraordinary amount of accidents and lawsuits. In general, most people are basically stupid.
6 million other more worthy investigations out there.

Just had to point out you might be back peddling, Dennis. I bloody well hate this nonsense, how many people have died because of Musk's dream? This thread was based on a mans tragic death while police officer's watched helplessly, because no one could break a window, and then weeks after this thread was posted, the whole world got to see how easy it was to break, not just one, but two windows on world news. And what about the above witch hunt, again two innocent non tesla car owners are dead, I guess that's OK

Some were German...BMW made them. But first they were the Italian Iso Isetta:

They were also made in Spain as the Iso Espana Pritsche,

The German BMW version was the most popular-

But BMW also built them in England with three wheels:

France also got in on the action with their version called the Valem Isetta:

Continents away, Brazil was busy making a version as well, the Romi-Isetta.

With a 'me too' attitude, Argentina joined in.

Coming back to the electric car theme, there is of course, the 2018 Microlino from Switzerland.View attachment 855875
The new version seems to have the same quantity of doors as the original. https://microlino-car.com/en/microlino
what a handsome car - no way you'd feel like a goof in this...

When it can be charged in ten minutes at any gas station and go for 500 miles on a charge, call me.........

After owning cars for 44 years, I've yet to own one that will go 500 miles on a tank. I've managed to survive.

If it's going to take so long to charge, then I expect to go 500 miles. Surviving is what I do best.....

Imagine one day the technology will be advanced to make electric cars more suitable. I wish I hadn't dumped my baseball card collection...some of those I used on my bicycle spokes to make noise. They might come in handy for electric cars. Or a speaker in the rear with a recording of a throaty V8 exhaust...hmm a new invention?

View attachment 908326 This is the one that closed the 101 SB in Mt View the day I took the Coronet to Custom Alignment. 5 ******* hours waiting for Tesla engineers to tell Fire that it was safe to tow the wreck. Driver knew there was navigation problems and used it anyway. There is a goofy merge at the 101/85. One where you are on 101 and if not careful end up on 85, primary freeway almost seems to be an exit. An Apple Engineer.

Auto Pilot is not working, think I’ll play a video game while Southbound on the 101.
