Some FBBO members are known to post up a lot of pictures, others post memes. Some post links to political stories. All of that stuff is great.
FBBO member Moparfeind posts up some great stuff too. He always seems to be tinkering and
"Thinkering" about what to do next. I really appreciate that. Guys like him and Dennis H are inspirations to me and the hobby. We all face obstacles in our lives but instead of letting those obstacles stop him, Moparfeind finds a way around them. Some may already know that he had surgery recently yet he still was spry enough to log on and chat about future plans for his Plymouth.
I am fortunate to be pretty healthy but often I go through periods where my motivation is just not there. A few of those times, I have read someones thread about their projects and it helps kick me in the *** to get moving. I want to openly thank the members like Moparfeind for being who they are. Keep it going, Sir....I like what I am seeing!

Atta boy KD. Very astute of you, too.
It's easy for those of us that have gone through health challenges to see and appreciate the
efforts of others who have had similar battles of their own, yet get on with it anyways.

For someone otherwise blessed with good health to be able to acknowledge someone else
who is not so lucky, however, is quite a bit more rare and is to be commended.
Well done, KD. Well done, indeed.

The key thing here is that he works on his car.....I hope I will be able to do the same at that age and what he was dealt with.....

The picture thing carries him light years above the rest....so many time a question can be answered very fast with a single picture...

With all that gent has to deal and dealt with we can’t even get one fully capable member to post a single pic of their car or maybe there is no car......

He has always , for me, offered very helpful advice. He is an asset to this board !

I was hoping that he would respond here.

Guys I am just seeing this post. Very thoughtful of you KD and the rest of you ehem gentlemen My initial recovery from surgery was actually very easy for me. However month 3 started to spiral down real quick due to all the dam meds they were pumping me with to stop any rejection from the transplant. Finally I am starting to get back to what maybe a new more functional normal and get some time to be more active on both a body and b body forums and to work on the car. Need to start off on the easy projects one of which I had purchased a while ago. That was this MSD adjustable timing module. It allows me to retard or advance +/- 7 degrees to account for fuel octane variation and elevation and temp etc. Now that it’s finally in I can say it does just what you would expect very well. Its hooked to my MSD 6AL box and was a simple instal. I highly recommend it if your engine is on the edge of detonation. High compression steel heads in the hot desert makes me a good candidate! BTW happy new year to you guys Its going to be better than 2019!
