My first car, (1977) was a 68' SuperBee, hemi orange with a 383 magnum. 4 speed, posi. Had headers, torker intake, holley 780. Straight thrush exhaust. Bought it with 85000 mile, for $500! Haven't played with cars since until about 5 yrs ago bought a 1950 Buisiness Coupe.
Been working on it when I can, Ford 8.8 rearend (4.10 gears) new wiring, fuel system, disc brakes etc. Now replacing floors and rocker panels. Pulled the 218 flat six and have been musing over what motor to use. Slim pickens in central indiana for usable mopar motors. Last weekend I finally got lucky and found a guy who had a '68 383. Picked it up and brought it out to where I keep the car. This weekend will be the first chance I have to get into it and see what it is. I will be on this site now for info on getting this motor back to life.

Welcome to the site!! Post some pics of the car when you can...

Welcome from arizona. I've got a 49 business coupe myself. That trunk sure is fun aint it!? Put about ten dead bodies in there, or maybe smuggle three live friends into the drive-in!
