Apparently a law was just put in place for a $10 k fine for each call. Though with my biz # plastered all over the net, i get about $50-$60 thou worth, or more a day. And it never fails, they're ALWAYS when i'm in an attic, on a steep roof, or crawl space working. I think every single person associated with them should have to have their personal cell # available to the public. As punishment for such a nuisance, i think they should all be hung by their genitals till dead ! Blocking the #s doesnt do any good. They just call again from another #. And these days, you cant just look at an area code of an incoming call, as i get customers calling from buku area codes. If I don't know the number I don't answer if they truly need me they will leave a msg!

I agree, every time I turn around and try to get back to what I was doing, the damn phone rings, and it spam. The problem with what you say about showing the number, is that they spoof all kinds of other numbers, including local numbers. I can think of two reasons they do that; you are more likely to answer a local number, and blocking the number does no good as they just spoof another one. People like me and yourself, we need to answer the phone for our work. I DO agree with the genitals solution though...
 
Genitals hanging would be appropriate. I got a spam recording call the other day from some woman pleading with me to stop calling her. And she left her number. WTF was that? I think they must want you to call them and then do something with your number. I too just don’t answer if I don’t know the caller. But I don’t run a business that depends on people calling. I can see where that would be just plain nasty....

It may be like 69 bee wrote, about the spoof callers. They can make it look like another # called you.

No, your number got spoofed. I get calls from 707 area code, and I haven't lived there in over 3 years. Talk to her and explain the situation as my brother had to do the same with another person about the problem you have. Good Luck
 
Hell, I got a robo call yesterday from MY number and it was not the first time.

Maybe they where hoping you'd call back to explain that it was not you, and then when you phone bill comes, you find out you made a very expensive call to Nigeria.
 
69a100 is right, I once got a scam call from my own phone number, I think they are using my number to call other victims too.
 
It won't make a difference ,you still get them and now I get text messages
 
For everyone you turn in you get twice if you where a government number they would stop right now
