Gents, looking for a very nice original or NOS trunk emblem. You can buy them re-popped, but would preferably like an original.
Thanks
Jason

I have two of these. One a factory 2bbl car which has the good body and a factory 4bbl parts car. I have run the 2bbl factory engine with a 4bbl carb and a 2bbl cam and it went pretty well. This setup was from the previous owner. It did have an aftermarket twin exhaust on it though. It has been off the road for a while and I will be rebuilding the engine with a spec 4bbl cam when I do.
These cars were grocery getters, so not stupid fast, but fast enough to enjoy it. Mine also as 2.76 gears and an 8 1/4 rear end. I will be swapping all of the 'P" code stuff over when I do my rebuild, which includes an 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears, but only because I have it available. Hope this helps.
By the way, my shipping address is in Texas.

Thanks. Wyrmryder posted some stuff on how the Magnum cams lack performance in low compression engines. About five years back I got a '69 Coronet with a 318, all original, and I was impressed with the power. Nothing earth shattering, but it keeps up quite well with modern cars. I figured a 400 with the standard cam, factory 4bbl, Thermoquad, and Magnum exhaust manifolds would be pretty good.

No worries, thanks Aeronet that's mighty decent of you. I will keep looking for a nicer example, but will come back to you if I can't find one.
Cheers
Jason
