I apologize for posting this, but I had some questions about my 69 Roadrunner that I just bought (so damn excited!).
I’ve decoded the fender tag numerous times & I either can’t find certain codes or the matching options are questionable.
So it’s a 69 RR 383 auto, fender signals, bronze or copper color, Air grabber car.
The questions I have are; that T5 is copper paint but I can’t find what the second T5 is.
H2H is this bench or buckets?
A01 top color? Vinyl top? But can’t find it.
V21 perf hood treatment but V6W says white? Strips. I thought all hood stripes were black(?).
V1W I can’t find info on
Any info you guys can help me with I’d appreciate. Can’t wait for winter to end to start this project (already started buying parts.).

H2H - first digit "H" high trim; "2" - bench, vinyl; "H" - 1969 white and tan. The second T5 is upper door frame paint.

Chargervert is correct, A01 is the light package. That may include glove box lock, map/courtesy lamp, reading and dome lamp, cargo compartment lamp, trunk compartment lamp, ash receiver lamp, and hood/fender turn signal lights.

V6* - sport stripes, longitudinal tape. In W white.

That explains a few things for sure.
So the white strip isn’t hood, it’s side stripes?
I wondered if it was a vinyl top car.
i like the copper/bronze color but not sure about the white top lol.

That's why I don't trust the online decoders. The decoder must have gotten out of sync there. Scheduled production dates run 8, 9, A, B, C for August - 8, through December - C., then 1-7 for Jan. to July. Can't be T. C11 = December 11th.

Does your bird have a map light under the dash frame, just past the radio, maybe a glove box light and fender turn signals?
 
It does have fender t-signals. I’ll have to look over the dash to look for the map light though. But I did notice a mounting “tab” on the inside trunk edge which I assume is for a trunk light.
 
First T5 is Roof paint
Second T5 is body paint
Go to right and the T7 is upper door frame paint

Yes the painters need to be told what color to paint the roof and body, because it was an option to have them painted different colors. Also they don’t paint the entire roof when a vinyl top is going on over it.

The vinyl top guys need to know what vinyl top to install, and those are 2 different jobs in different areas of the plant.

The interior of the car is partially body color, along with the floors, rear speaker shelf, door jambs, trunk, engine compartment, front wheelwell area, etc.

The upper door frame always have their own paint code. Yours is T7, but that’s not you exterior paint color. Sometimes the UDF code is the same as the body paint code, like B7, W1, F8, or T7. But the UDF was never ever orange, bright yellow, plum crazy, Petty blue, or lime green.

If you want to learn more than you can imagine about your 69 runner, I heartily endorse Wes Eisenschenks book about 69 roadrunners. He is a member here. Google 1969 roadrunner book. I got mine from the local Barnes and nobel, but it's available on eBay and amazon.
I questioned here if others thought the book was worthwhile, but bought it anyway. Five minutes in I knew it was worth more to me than what I paid .I learned more about my runner in an hour than in the ten years I owned it.
 
I agree with 33 IMP about Wes Eisenschenk's book it's amazing. I can't imagine what a job it was to gather all that information. Plus I was actually lucky enough to get a couple pictures from my car in it :)
 
I don’t completely trust decoder information either. Based on all these fender tags have the color code listed twice as the poster of the thread listed.

For example. The second time B7 is listed on my car’s tag. The decoder deciphers original cloth/vinyl bench seat as that code. While another code on my tag. The decoder list that other code as vinyl bucket seats. Which is accurate for my car. For some unknown reason to me. The second time a color is listed on a tag. It’s deciphered inaccurately as the wrong original seat.

Cool car, post some pics up if you would please. T5 is one of my favorite 1969 colors, and yours has some real nice options for Road Runner.

It’s funny you mention Wes’ book, I literally was just looking at it when you guys started suggesting it :).
I’ll def post some pics as I get started. It’s currently apart & back from the blaster (on a rolling rack), parts bagged & tagged.
Most of the metal on this coupe is in great shape with the obvious exception of the quarters & a few spots on the floor. But otherwise super solid car.
The only questionable spots are the drip rail moldings- they started to rot & im trying to decide if I just throw on some replacement metal pieces or just finish removing them the rest of the way...
Anyway thanks again this thread (you guys) has really provided a ton of info about my coupe- thanks again.
I can’t wait- the 69 RR has always been a dream car for me!
