A year and half ago I sold a 71 Roadrunner to a small dealer in Iowa. It was originally a black car, with an amateur pink paint job. 383 4 speed and imitation Centerline wheels on it.

I think the dealer sold it right away. Just wondering where it ended up and how it's doing.

Anyone aware of one like that?

I think he was from the NE section of the state, but don't recall for certain.

The post got my attention. I sold a 71 RR 340 AT in the early 80s here local. Guy that bought it passed away. He had painted it black at one point.
I lost track of the car and would love to find it.

If the dealer kept any half decent records and hes still in business maybe he can tell you where it went

This one was around the Mpls/St Paul area for some time apparently. Black on black, bench seat 3 speed manual according to the fender tag. It had ended up in a police impound lot up here years ago. The guy who sold it to me had bought it at the police auction and messed around with it for a long time before selling. I don't think he ever had it running. It had been advertised for weeks before my curiosity got the better of me and I went to look at it. To this day I don't know why it hadn't sold before then. Really wasn't a bad car and must have been gorgeous when new. Floors were surprisingly good in it. One front frame rail had had some rust repair done to it.

I put a good running 383, 4 speed OD and 3:91's in it. Was fun to drive! Hope someone's giving it the attention it deserved.

I don't remember the dealer name or city now. Figured it might be unique enough to have caught someone's eye down that way. I don't want to violate anyone's privacy.

I've got a 71 and 72 but both are satellites so not what you had. . 71-72 plymouths are a rare siting in my part of the state. .western Iowa. .ill keep my eye out!
