For the younger members that may not know, wolfman Jack was the best dj back in the days when cars had, am jams.

Burton Cummings does some fairly good voice impersonations, so he was going to do the Wolfman parts on this song. But then they thought they'd better ask the real Wolfman Jack if he minded...he replied with "why would you want to do that when you could get be me to do the part for real?" and so he ended up on the song.
 
Bought a guess who greatest hits disc for the ride from ca. to az. I forgot about that song till it came up on the disc.
