2019 NFL season

Looks like we have the first installment for the Super Bowl. The Chiefs are doing what they do to the Titans. Unstoppable offense meets a movable defense. I’m happy for them. The last time they went to the bowl was in 1970 when they were heavy underdogs my Vikings. The Chiefs won 27-7 I believe was the final score.

Green Bay hasn’t showed up yet. 3rd quarter I’m about ready to call game over.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I'll be routing for the Chiefs in the SB. Well, not much of a limb at this point! I'm not sure very many people didn't think the Packers overachieved this year. Pretty good record for a rookie head coach. They won ugly most of the year, and now they're really losing ugly.

The game was over with the first whistle. Should be a great Super Bowl matchup. Pulling for the Chiefs here too. It’s been a long time coming for them. They have great team chemistry and it starts with Andy Reid

I was thinking at the half GB coach should have put our talented backup QB Boyd, in. Dumb move? It was over by halftime anyway...no way they could come back 27-0 against the niners as the D was playing great HS ball. Rodgers had a problem playing in his home state all year and was obviously playing with tunnel vision as he missed open receivers in the first two or 3 series going 3 and out. This champ game reminded me a lot of the champ game against the Giants when Favre in his closing years was so cold he couldn't function while Eli looked like he was playing in a warmer climate. Said the same thing then to put their talented backup QB, by the name of Rodgers, in the game. And the play calling looked like the offence of old, lets keep trying the same thing over and over expecting a different result.
Kudos to the Niners. And also the packers for an unbelievable season under their rookie coach making it to the champ game. I had low expectations for the pack this year thinking 500. A fun year as a packer fan.

I agree 3rd down and you throw a screen pass 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage, that kills them!

Yeah, how many times did they try that? I know I bitched during the game like an armchair QB; but all in all they had a phenomenal season. Funny sideline - I wrote to the packer prez after he canned McCarthy with my 'logic' as if I had any, about letting a successful coach go, especially like he did, after all the coaching and management changes that had already been made getting rid of Capers, new GM, etc. He wrote a handwritten note back on a packers Christmas card being polite capping some of his reasoning. Well, McCarthy was a likable coach and had set deep roots in GB with his family. I wish him all the best in Dallas (except when they play GB) and expect during his year off he has found some new tools for his coaching box. For Matt, next year will be telling after such a great season if he can keep have a repeat to the playoffs.

I think they had a great season and I do think Matt will really come out swinging next year. Review what worked and what didnt and learn from that. Go Pack Go!

It’s funny how people blame the coach or give praise when in fact it’s the PLAYERS that need to be given credit or blame. If I was a coach taking over, I’d have it in writing that ALL players sign, if you drop a ball, fumble, (there are exceptions to this for obvious reasons) throw it out of reach of intended target, drop a snap, miss a field goal (unless the crosswind is 40mph) or drop a lateral, you will be making a 5k donation to MY favorite charity for every screw up.

These guys need to held responsible for not executing the play.

I watched Patrick Kane get his 1000 goal instead, sweet!

Great season to watch football. There were some really great matchups all in all. Now we have only another great matchup in the Super Bowl left to watch before we enter the desert of,the off season. I thought the Vikings had a very average year. They only won against the teams they were supposed to beat and did very poorly against all the others save NO in the playoffs. That was their one great win for the year. I hope they can do something about the O line in the draft. That’s an ongoing problem and severely limits our offensive abilities. Cheers to all football fans and I hope your off season is a productive one.

I'll root for San Francisco. Jimmy Garoppolo was the Patriot's backup quarterback and is an overall nice guy. Too bad they let him get away, but our loss is SF's gain.

I've already moved on to the combine & draft
meh !!! Yawn !!!

I said early this year the SB will go thru KC (even the 49ers)
not sure they can beat 49ers, which has a great defense
& a pretty damn good offense too !!!
SF just won that game against GB, with only like 8 total passes

but we'll soon see, wont we ?

I'd rather see & hear the Chiefs fans gloat about a win
like here & they are known to do so :poke:
(Andy Reid has never won the big one, as a HC "YET")
then listen to the Santa Clara :gay: forty-whiners  FANS all gloat
about yet another ring or SB :bananaweed:

Go Las Vegas Raiders !!
