We are thinking of doing another set of reproduction spoilers here for the first generation Chargers......

just putting this out here to see if we would have enough people interested in purchasing one.

Price is going to be $500 to $550 plus shipping via UPS. Shipping tube, shipping cost, and insurance will be around $75 to most anywhere in the United States (lower 48) Out of country shipping would be determined by your address & location

A $200 deposit would be needed by 10 people to get the ball rolling again. This deposit would be put toward the final price of spoiler once they are made.

Pics of spoiler below on our two Chargers, black car has OE pieces, cream car has reproduction unit. These are made from aluminum just as the original pieces were, there is a small difference between the original & reproduction pieces, but unless you know exactly what to look for, nobody will know

Guess that's all for now...any questions, just ask...send PM or email me

Bryan

Did you hit your head again Bryan?
How long di it take you to sell the last 50?

I'll bite put me down. Let me know when you have enough people and need the money.
Thanks Mike

Wish I could swing one but I have bigger fish to fry.

Ok, what is the difference. The only thing I can see is maybe the slope on each side but that may be just the pictures.

the difference in only known to me and it will stay that way, sorry. This is to protect buyers from sellers trying to pass off my reproduction spoiler as the real one

the slope you mention is the same...these were cut on a CNC machine using my original ones as a pattern

spoiler

No but somebody who has a 66 or 67 hemi charger that should have that spoiler on it probably will. Those were a dealer installed item for hemi cars only and they were painted from the factory and thrown in the trunk to be installed by the dealer. Most of them got tossed during the dealers new car insp. so most of the cars never left the dealer with it. Somebody trying to concourse restore there hemi charger would probably fork out the cash to have since it was meant to be there.

spoiler was available over the counter at dealers for $29.95 if anyone wanted to purchase one in 1967...it was supposed to be standard equipment on 67 Hemi Chargers, but I have seen more cars that have the Hemi without the spoiler than with

we sold out our first run of spoilers earlier this year...the first run totaled about 80 sets I think

I think the way to do these is in fiberglass or something like that. It would be reasonably priced for the masses. Thoughts?

I had a 67 Charger (first Mopar i ever owned, 1st bank loan to) without one but if i ever managed to own another i would want one.. they look great on your cars.. They make the car look awesome... you guys do some good work!

I know this is digging up a old thread but did you ever produce the second batch Bryan?

The ones you made before look pretty impressive. Nice work. The spoiler really sets these cars off.

Is anyone except Canadian Spoiler Bob making these spoilers?

Showcars spoiler is a total piece of crap I purchased one a little over a month ago knowing it would need work, but never imagined it would be this bad. The center part of the spoiler is all over the place different heights and width the two end pieces are different heights of each other and shorter than the centerpiece. He use rivnuts on the bottom of all three pieces to help mount it that stuck out 1/8 lower then the spoiler so it sat on the rivnuts instead of sitting flat on the car. And those were bondo in place! And to top it all the spoiler is HOLLOW twisted and warped. I am currently reworking the whole spoiler and it looks like I'm only gonna be able to salvage about 20% of it if that. Once I get it to where I like it I'm not even gonna use IT!!! I'm gonna make a mold of it and make a solid fiberglass one for my car.

If you make a mold and feel like making another (if it comes out good), I'd be interested in one. I just had my car painted and I still have paint left over.

Maxrat, I'll let you know how it turns out, but I only get to work on it one or two days a week because of my work schedule so it may be a little while before its done
