I just spent a lovely 3 days in Scottsdale at the auctions. I think prices are down, fortunate for guys that want to buy, not so great if you’re 401k has 4 wheels. This crossed the block for $28k:
hehe. Yep. At Russo and Steele they actually had a discussion during the middle of an auction to educate the difference between “frame off” and “rotisserie”.Ah, another Mopar that received a "frame-off restoration"...
Hey.. mine had one.. LOLAh, another Mopar that received a "frame-off restoration"...
That's pretty, how much?
$170k. If you zoom in on the top right picture with the “Sold” sticker, BJ writes in the $.That's pretty, how much?
There’s actually 3 at the same time. Richie auctions had their first year this time. So BJ, Russo and Steele, and Ritchie. What's with the R&S auction same days as BJ?? They trying to take over down there in January?

You forgot about the fourth one. Leake was running at the same time. Friend of mine had two Nissan's over there.
Me and my bud did all 3 and we’re tired as ****. The auction yards are all within 10 minutes of each other.
Only if it's a 4-speed.

That's what a no reserve auction gets you. There is no say, they just push it through. It's not theirs and they don't care. This goes for everything that's not on prime days or times.Nice mopars on Sunday went cheap as well as other makes seems they were happy with the hammer on a lot of cars that should of brought more $$$
Not in that color (at least to me)Only if it's a 4-speed.
We tend to forget that we who are of that generation like them the way they were. Where as the newer generation likes the restro type cars with modern bling lol.I was waiting for that one to come up. There was an earlier preview. I was preoccupied, looked up at the tv and it was being pushed off, hammer came down and missed what it sold for. Thanks for posting.
IMO prices are down on the original and restored muscle cars. Vehicles like restro mod pickups and land rovers went overboard.
I'm okay with the color, but if I were being real picky, I would go for red interior. Not in that color (at least to me)
