Well,if you recall, they killed off Bill Shatner in the Expedia commercials a few years ago.

Given today's PC lunacy, it makes you wonder if they'll replace Mr. Peanut with something a little more gender neutral?

PC my ***, whatever happen to just kind of fun to watch. My 94 year old mother in law told me one day that things were changing and she didn't think she fit in anymore. I told her, not true, I think I get it now!!
 
I'm of Irish decent, and I find that leprechaun stuff very offensive and stereotypical.

Heard rumors he asked a Planter's peanut client "You still love eating my nuts?" considered offensive language. The Board of Peanuts voted him out.
 
Maybe if they get a Mrs. peanut for Mr. Peanut, everything will be good........or maybe they could use Caitlin Jenner as the new Peanut spoke person...its a women with nuts!:rofl:.....remember, it takes sane people to know that the PC world is insane.....:drinks:

The commercial could be offensive since it shows a black guy hanging from a branch if you want to look for something wrong with everything.
