I rarely go to a mall. I may go at Christmas, or once in a blue moon. Today i went to a mall sporting goods store. Afterward, i walked through the mall to take in the sites. The longer i was there, the more i felt out of touch. Like a leftover from decades ago. I saw people with purple hair, pink hair, males( i won't refer to them as men), wearing their hair in buns, wearing ear rings, purses, and pajamas. Overheard male cashiers who sounded as if they didn't have one ounce of testosterone in their frail body. Young girls with bull rings in their noses, etc. I know in our youth, we do things older people frown on. Though i sense its all of a different/ worse flavor now. Here is an example of a couple t shirts i saw for sale.

I only shop for three things, well maybe four:
1. Hardware
2. Car parts
3. Lumber
4. Occasionally I will get milk
Otherwise my wife will buy anything else I need.
She is pretty awesome.

BITCH BISCUITS is what they are! I don't even know when the last time I was in a mall either, maybe 10 years now? I'll keep this under advisement, thanks.

Mall? what the heck is a mall? Have not been in one in over a year. Next time I need a good laugh maybe a trip to the zoo will be more enjoyable.

The previous generations always think the subsequent generations are the undoing of society.

This is nothing new.

I will say, I’m among the previous generations these days.

You're right. I mentioned that in my original post. I just think its worse now. Imo.

grew up in the 50s and the 60 s when things where different came back from nam in the 70 s the whole Fn world has been in a downward spin there all Fn NUT

Do malls still exist? I thought they were dead. As for the "youth" and what they do/say...One of the philosophers of ancient times, I forget which one, said the same thing pretty much. It can be attributed to every new generation throughout time. While it may seem like a microcosm of youth is indicative of all of them, it just isn't realistic to assume so. The world will go on and governments wont fall because some kid has weird hair and is wearing an objectionable tee shirt. Once upon a time simply wearing a tee shirt in public meant you were an outlaw wastoid. Remember long haired hippies being the scourge of the planet? Yuppies? Nerds? IT guys and girls? Hackers? Huffers? Boomers? The list goes on....at some future point being straight, white, male, with regular clothing and a wife with 2.0 children will be thought to be the world ending issue. Oh WAIT! That's today....lol..lord preserve me....oh Wait! That's bad too....

Somehow I got talked into doing the grocery shopping after I started my biz being out and about during the day and once ya let that happen it's hard to rewind that tape. I got used to it and see some hot women as some eye candy though the only ones that will glance at me are older than I am or even my age and at my age the cute days are over. Other trips are routine to Home Depot and a few hardware and auto stores always needing something unless getting it online. Someday people won't go out at all having stuff delivered...I know a couple people that get their groceries delivered or have their groceries pre-picked for drive-thru pickup.

I’ll agree with that. But I think we’re fooling ourselves if we think the latest version isn’t a whole new “low” than its ever been before.

example: in previous generations, if you were born with a penis, you never had to wonder if you were really a man. Now it’s a “choice” you make at a later date. Hence the dude wearing a sadlehorn for his boyfriend to have a handhold.

And when you go to the mall the kids look at you and say "what's that 70 year old guy think he is with his bald head and grey ponytail" "If he's gonna wear his pants that low he should at least pull his underwear up" "What do all those faded, wrinkly tattoos say" "He could at least maintain that beard". You look as weird to them as they to you.

You could take the delivery bit out of any 1950's or nearly 60's community. I even remember the breadman stopping and the mail man making deliveries from the Sears and Montgomery Wards catalog. Very little really changes.

Exactly....remember when our Grandparents said The Beatles were a bad influence on society???

my Dad blamed Ed Sullivan for the downfall of America...... for bringing those "long haired bastards" over here
