"My Classic (Coronet) Car".....

That's great. Congrats. My Classic Car is one of the few car shows I watch. No drama.

Ok guys, here is the video of Jim and Dennis!

I have heard some people say some negative things about Dennis Gage, but I met him at Carlisle, when I had the Charger convertible in the fun field, and he seemed like a decent guy to me. He came over and introduced himself to me,checked out my car,he said he really liked the workmanship on the car,and handed me an autographed picture, that read really cool convertible!

I can't comment as I am sporting 30 pack abs myself! Anybody can have Sixpack abs,I had to do my 12 ounce curls to get my 30 pack abs! lol

Dennis is an animated fellow. Lots of arm flailing.

Jim, hearty congrats; well done. Jeff

Dennis makes everyone look heavier. He must be a vegan or something.

Congrats on your award and video. You earned it.

Honestly I did not really spend much time at all looking at the other cars and I took zero photos other than the one of the three of us after the place cleared out. In my class it was a '68ish Camaro that I don't remember seeing, I don't remember what it was in Kaelyns because she was too excited and wanted to post some snap chat photos of both of the awards together to I missed what it was.

Ha, just pullin' your chain. If they weren't mopars then I'm not real interested in seeing them anyway. But you know what they say, If you're not first, you're last. Oh wait, that's racing not car shows! :BangHead:

Seriously though Jim, I've seen photos of both your cars before and you have every reason to be proud of both of them. I think the judges probably just got it wrong at that show.

Local shows have SO many variables that I don't really care about the trophy's. Yea its nice but I don't have any expectations, I've never been a competitive person. I don't watch sports or play sports. I liked golf because that was mostly about battling yourself for improvement and that is what I like about the cars, just making them something I enjoy and making them better for me.

Agree, I go to very few car shows anymore. When I do go it is to meet others who share my mopar fanaticism and just talk cars and enjoy the day. Trophies mean VERY little to me (except at the Nationals, I'm proud of that one).
