You could do me a big favor.. Mine lets a lot of air come out the little square holes when the vent lever is closed. .Can that be taken out easily? I expect the shut off flap has a bad gasket/seal. Can the part with the little square holes be taken off of that assembly while it is still mounted under the dash? Thanks for any advice..................MO

You can not take the flapper off from the bottom. You have to drop the whole vent out from under the dash.
