New car help with a traction code

Hey guys I got this 2007 srt8 super bee the other day and it has an esp and a bas light on !
My code reader can't read it but I went to a shop I used to work at and they gave me a new high dollar reader . It said

U0125 Lost Communication With Multi-Axis Acceleration Sensor (MAS) Module

What is this where is it I looked online but no one says where it is or what it is I saw a picture of a sensor but no other info not even sure if that's the sensor. Anyone know about this ? I'd really like to get the car 100% before I put the baby seat in the back !

I have U0125 as Lost Communications with Dynamics Sensor...

When Monitored: With the ignition on.
Set Condition: If the Anti-Lock Brakes Module fails to receive bus messages from the Dynamics Sensor.

The Dynamics sensor is under the console between the seats. Check the sensor and make sure its oriented correctly. I think the arrow is supposed to face the rear of the car. Also clean the connectors and check for corrosion.

Its a black box with an arrow. I found a picture of it but lost that link.. Its basically a stability computer. It checks for acceleration,Yaw and roll.. Kind of like a Gyro for your car.

Ok parts out and no one knows what it is all parts stores say no such thing what is the actual name for this most are saying stability control module .
Auto zone and o Riley says no such thing!!!

Why don't you go to the dealer? Not everything cost $10M...

Check the wiring, connectors/contacts, and contacts on the MAS before you buy a new MAS.

Get yourself a factory service manual (and get familiar with the wiring diagrams). MAYBE this:

It's definitely bad it was leaking goo and has a burnt smell. I'm afraid to buy used asm has only 69000 miles on car .... but I think I just found one at dealer they want $800 for it!
So used it might be !

WEll at that price you can afford to buy 6 ebay ones and one of them have to be good. My diagnostic fee is 1 million bucks..

I'm noticing it doesn't do much of anything . Besides if you go sideways it takes power away ! I might just leave it unplugged

Its basically stability control. As they used to say from the wheel that slips to the wheel that grips. I dont think you will like not having that in the rain.

Just went through this last week with my 07 super bee after I had the car towed and removed power from the battery it set the ESP light on. Have a friend that works at the local Chrysler dealer and said it can be reset by turning the steering wheel full left then full right. Also try the esp button on the dash to see if it resets.
