Our classics seemed to rust out in the snowy climates within 2 or 3 years but I haven't heard much about new cars rotting away. I haven't seen anything online about newer Chargers or Challengers rusting out. I've seen some pictures of late model trucks that are wasting away but not the cars.
Anyone have pictures of 2008 and later rusty cars?

If I showed you this 2003 Dakota It would freak you out. My old 66 that I ended up using as a parts car was in better shape.

I have seen a newer charger with a rusted hood but I think a pissed off wife was involved with paint striper!
I've seen rusted frame work on beach side cars but nothing can last there!

I'm not in the salt air....... these cars are filled with some type of Styrofoam, I suppose it gets and stays wet at the bottoms

I could snap pics all day long around here
Rust never sleeps in NewJersey..

I'm at least 30-40 miles from the salt air....... you are pretty much in it

they love putting that **** on the roads though

We've had a 2007 honda civic since new and still virtually no rust. Never been rust proofed but I think it has one of those electronic anti rust modules. The 07 toyota we bought for my son obviously doesn't have a module and is rusting in spots, mostly from stone chips. He will likely beat it to death before it rusts out completely. I'm nearly finished fixing major repairs again after his 2nd single car excursion into the ditch. This one a full roll over without a scratch to him or the under carriage. The boy has horseshoes. Tough little car.

Theres so much plastic on 'em, you wouldn't see the rusty parts.

You hit the nail on the head there! That is exactly the case.....take a look behind all the rubber bumpers and fascia and see the glorious results of salt on the roads in the northern **** climate haha!

I live ten minutes away from Long Beach Island in New Jersey, salt air sucks.
My son works on the Island and his work truck takes a beating from the salt

There is a foam sealer in parts of the cars, it holds moisture and with that comes rust.
