Trunk ext to outer wheelhouse

Hi guys. Im getting ready to weld in my outer wheelhouse and everything lines up except for the trunk extension. This section was heavily rotted & the TE is all welded in. It really cant be minipulated without breaking out my torches. I have nothing to go by so was wondering if someone can confirm this is suppose to be this way. Both panels are AMD & the seam lines up with the compound bends everywhere else, just odd things aren't completely flush on the outside edge of the wheel arch in this spot...
Please help.

I've taken apart factory cars with huge gobs of seam sealer there, covering a big gap. Long story short - you're gonna have to modify it, add metal, whatever it takes. The repo stuff isn't perfect.

your expectations are too high........ often times these parts need a slice, bend, beating, or all of the above
