Pickles.
Cherries.
Oreo cookies.
Ice Cream and steak.

Onions.
Chocolate syrup.
Rutabagas.
Electricity and motor oil.

GM front suspension/steering
Orange and turquoise engine paint
Dual alternator brackets
No water pump bolts
Engine setback
Battery on top of the upper control arm
Pickup truck wheels
HP manifold on backwards, drivers side
All on a 68 Plymouth B body

It's been way too long. Here goes anyway...
Black engine bay
Alternator pulley looks too large
Odd looking vacuum advance
That hood
Fuel filter return

Looks good to me. Does it run?

I might want to replace the windshield with a wire screen.

there's so much wrong , or different, I don't know where to start.
what's really going on here?

Where does the piece of plywood go?......almost looks like a Rube Goldberg design.......

orange bracket for the alternator:lol:

Where is that fuel line going and what's up with the tin foil on the PS pump? I thought I rigged some stuff when I was a teenager, but I had nothing on this car.

Haha
Really good eyes people.
1) It's my 69 RR post body sitting on a 71 Pontiac Grand Prix frame.
After the floor and firewall were cut out around the inside parameter, than in 4 parts and removed. The body slid down on the outside of the frame right up against the inside of the rocker panels. 3, 1/2" lag screws temp positioned the body. The difference in the wheel base was that the GM frame was 1" longer which was easily split 1/2" on ea end.
( See my recent post Resurrection)
2) The 67 "Holley" 440 came out a 67 imperial complete with 915 heads.
3) There are two right hand up 69 bb exhaust manifolds in order to clear the steering and 4 speed clutch linkage
4) The motor is set back 13" because as noted the steering is in the front of K frame in GM. When I did this in late 70,a I had to move oil sump and pick up to the rear to clear everything. Now you can just buy a rear sump and pickup made for a truck.
5) No windshield wiper motor. Either that or a carburetor.
6) ps pulley system is built around needing to clear GM steering box and mopar pump.
7) No inner fender wells and GM upper control arms are dead give away.
8) The screen instead of a windshield is close as the car was set up to run 1/2 mile high banked asphalt track. With cut DOWN truck springs and m50-15 sticky tires on 10" rims. And weighing in at 2,950 lb with me and 10 gal of fuel. The thing is an absolute rocket on the track.
When you can walk around a 1st gen Camaro on the outside on the back stretch or dive under him in the corners with a Big *** B body you've done something.
Some of the best memories of my life were from back than.
I'd like to try and run Freiburger down on Road Kill. Back on the road first thing.
Thanks for listening
Bill

rat nest of wires
dented oil filter
wrong wheel center cap
no fender mat to protect fine finish
bent upper control arm

Now you can do a "frame off" restoration without exaggerating

You said you did this in the 70’s. Makes no sense to me, being these cars were quite abundant and available ?
