1970 Hemi GTX auction by State of Oregon - anyone seen this?

I have seen that car in person, owner used to live here close to me. He said he was the original owner and that it was purchased new in Montana.

Looks like a decent project car ...get that transmission sorted out and it's a keeper.

Who ever owned must've ended up in a nursing home or no relatives.
Man, that's what I was thinking too Fran. So sad if true....no heirs? No will? Did the state do the same with
his personal effects, his property?
Depressing to think of a fella dying alone....

Does it look to have two Reverse dash lights next to the air grabber switch? Or maybe its for the Line Lock...?

That could be a "fasten seat belts lamp".

Nice complete car. Has an aftermarket/dealer installed trunk release....

I like it. But wonder about the shifter. It should be a non console pistol grip? Also, there are several Mopar Hemi emblems that dont look factory correct. I assume the original owner added them. As well as the extra white stripes on the rear quarters. The car is really going to need paint, IMHO. And it looks like it is a white vinyl top car that will need a top. No mention of how well it runs. I wish it wasn't across the country from me., as I would like to see it in person. What do you guys think it will go for? I really like it.....

That's a keeper!
If I didn't have the garage full & wife's car
sitting outside I'd be a player

Also, tell me about the "Proxibid" site. I went to it, and had to search a while before I found the "auction" for the GTX. It says I have 12 days and 17 hours to bid before the "Live Auction" starts... WTF does that mean? This is not like EBAY, I assume?

It’s a great car with lots of potential.
That said, the car will need work to make it a good driver.
To make it a trailer queen, you will have major money in it.

I bet it’s worth 80 to 90 at auction. Maybe a bit less,
Maybe a bit more

You wouldn't have to search if you'd just use the link I provided in my initial post above...
takes you right to it.
