I can definitely remember when the snow plow look was in, first Mopar I ever sat in was a very well raked 69 RR, was very exciting at the time. Not my jam these days but just like Pro Street it was a fad in time and some people want to revisit those trends.
 
I've always preferred that style over the fastback....
Lol, Back in the HS days around here it was very common to have the back end lifted, especially to fit larger tires & wheels. Then bumper height laws were passed and local law enforcement were issued tape measures.

Apologies to those who like them, but to me, tires approaching this width or this wide is the ONLY way to make a 71-74 Satellite look good, especially from the back. Otherwise that GIANT bumper and WIDE *** rear quarters look like an extremely overweight woman with disproportionately skinny ankles and toothpick legs!
