Harmonic Balancer Bolt

Hey all. I got ARP 240-2501 bolt for my 68' 383 motor. I don't have a crank pulley yet but screwed all the way in it sticks out this far. The total length of the shank of the bolt is about 2 3/16", I am assuming this is too long? If so, is there a part number or vendor who would have the right size? Of course the local auto part stores haven't been helpful.

I think the correct one is 1.25" long.

Try googling " genuine mopar P5249557AB crankshaft bolt set" found at Mytoytruck for $13.35. Summit wants double that for an ARP.
You could always try your local dodge dealer, if you are like me and leary of internet purchases.

He's lookin for 245-2501, as opposed to 240-2501, which he has in-hand.
