I have a sort of unique problem. I have THIS fender:

Other than the damage at the edge, it is very nice. If you've ever looked for 1970 Charger fenders, you'd know why I want to save this one.
The bracing behind the outer skin is folded in and not an easy fix. I am curious if all 68-70 B body fenders and doors share the same curve where they meet and if all models used the same brace. AMD shows no separate brace available, only fenders and of course, NO 1970 Charger ones are being made. I can straighten the outer sheet metal but the brace is a thicker gauge and would be a real PITA to fix.
Ideally, I'd love to use a 68-70 Charger fender. If the brace is not exact but close, I will still be on the lookout for damaged fenders from other models with a good brace to patch this one back together.
I may use this fender on my 1970 Charger known as "Jigsaw" or just keep it for a spare.

I think the only way to really know is to
put a fender up to a door and look for yourself
I don't see many that are mixing/matching charger and
b body metal together to know..
I'm inclined to think it will work. .
it looks similar
too bad you weren't closer
I have a fender that was hit in the front
with a perfect dogleg I was trying to sell cheap
just to help out someone for a patch.

Didn't the SuperBird use Plymouth doors and Dodge Coronet fenders? If so, at least they fit across those models.

all 2dr coronet and satellite used the same exact doors
only the glass is different between coupe and hardtop
68 just had the different inside lock location
and 70 doors had extra bracing inside.

Can you separate the brace from the fender and straighten it.

I can remove it but it is crushed sort of like an accordion.

Got it.
My right fender was damaged on the edge like yours, but I had the original undamaged brace to reinstall.
(The brace was not installed when my fender was damaged.)

Maybe someone has the brace for sale.
Or you can perform some more miracle work like you did on that front valance.:)

Yeah...That is kind of what I am trying to do here. The valance is two halves that I welded together. I'm looking at removing the bent fender brace, straightening the fender and welding a different brace back in.

I bought a 69 Roadrunner cause I needed a pair of front fenders for my Coronet & someone had bolted a perfect 68 Coronet front clip on the Roadrunner... I'd be willing to bet the inner support is 100% the same..

I don't know the exact answer to you question KD, but I can tell you this - the inner lip of the fender between 11 and 1 o'clock for Charger and Coronet is very similar. There's a pattern around the brace that has a offset. Like ----\____/----. I'm willing to bet that Coronet would be the same at least.

Planning a junkyard trip? What you need is a friend with a body jack and straighten the brace.

i have seen an entire 70 charger front clip on a 70 Coronet with zero mismatch at the body lines. we know the superbird used 70 Coronet front fenders.

Well then someone did some work... The overall shape is very close but zero mismatch isn't gonna happen..

Charger skins are different.

Coronet and Belvedere/Satellite doors are the same except trim holes.

Charger is wider at the top body than Coronet/satellite. You know the top body where the mirrors mount.

Next question: are they wider at the bottom or the same at the bottom, ie at the rocker panel?

I’d still bet with your skills you could take one off a Coronet/Satellite fender and make it work on a Charger.
