Law and Order.....Mariska Hargitay is worth watching it alone. Jerry Orback, (RIP) was also one of my favorite actors
Besides its filmed and about the greatest city in the world

I like ncis, they have a pretty strong cast and good writers. I can’t do the shows that are constantly dark. There has to be at least a bit of humour. Criminal Minds has to be the worst. Every episode about someone being tortured to death, all episode long. The real torture? Force someone to watch the show.

Law and Order is always good quality, my favourite though is Chicago PD.

My wife and I are into and watch most of the shows indicated. Our more recent favs are FBI and Chicago PD. We make sure and never miss those 2. In fact we record them.

We've watched all the NCISs (prefer the original), Bones, Rizzoli and Isles, The Closer/Major Crimes, all the Law Orders (prefer SVU).

One that I really liked was Chicago Code (2011 starring Jennifer Beals) It only lasted one season, but was very good.

I like watching those kind of shows. However, I really enjoy the older Classic ones. A couple other goodies to check out are. Burn Notice and Leverage. Really enjoying Leverage right now.

How many crime shows can they make?
TV is like a shopping mall. Only thing there are shoe and dress shops all with the same items.

Law & Order has become unwatchable due to their personal political agenda.

Lately been streaming Chicago PD and Burn Notice

I prefer cop shows with gritty main characters like Chicago PD and the old NYPD Blue.

I dislike the forensic/CSI type shows. My colleagues and I have had to explain more than a few times to juries in a criminal trial the difference between what they see on TV and real life forensics. My profession coined the term "CSI Effect" to describe the phenomena. One example of TV forensics was a show that used her cell phone to photograph the tire mark left by a suspect's motorcycle on the pavement doing a burnout/donut, searched their database and had the suspect in custody within the hour.

My all time favorite "crime" show is Dragnet. It was actually based on true LAPD files. For fans of the show you may want to watch this YT video.

used to watch law and order /svu all the time ,but they started trying to tech you stuff ( became political ) so i stopped watching . I like them to find the guy and "fix them " ,that why I like the one I mentioned . I like entertainment , not "don't do this or else "

I like the REAL life actual crime solving shows. not a bunch of fake acting and ridiculous plotting. it has to be THE FIRST 48 , or nothing.

I realize the highway patrol series is old like me, but they have the coolest views of brand new 55-59 dodges, Chryslers, and Plymouths as police cars and under cover cars! it is on U tube with Broderick Crawford.

I like them, however, I can NOT stand to watch them on broadcast TV so I have been able to catch them on Netflix or Amazon.......ZERO insults to my intelligence commonly referred to as commercials. I recently watched all 10 years of NYPD Blue. It was awesome to go straight through without having to "wait until next week". I particularly liked watching the "evolution" of technology during the course of the series. They started in the very early '90's and weren't even using flip phones and one episode was a side story on them introducing g desktops in the squad. Fun to watch the reactions of the characters toward the "new" technology.. By the end they had a lot but I did not see any "smart phones" yet. I never watch he'd even ONE episode of that show when it was running.
