I just recently shipped a hemi block with fastenal shipping. The are the same people as the hardware store. They ship store to store. I got a good price and the shipping went flawless. I have used them over the last few years and never had any issues.

I recently shipped a complete bench seat in a wooden crate (155 lbs) from Wisconsin to Carlisle Pa for $150.00. Their prices have been going up like everyone else's but still cheaper than most. It is called "Third-Party-Logistics" or 3PL. In order to be insured, it needs to be enclosed and on a pallet or skid. You can set it all up online, then deliver it to a local Fastenal and done. Works pretty slick.
I have used them a lot (20 times at least) rebuilding Sun testers always great service and a fair price. Had one small issue they took care of it in a few days. Only thing I dislike is no shipping into CA and I think AZ due to agriculture laws. But there is no issue shipping out of there.

Just bought some exhaust from Waldron, they are hooked up with fastenal, saved 50 percent on shipping and my local fastenal is only 2 towns over
