Not sure if this is the proper forum but....

Finally found and purchased the 67 Charger of my dreams. Now having trouble locking down transport from Philadelphia area to Chicago area. Called a few and no response.

Anyone have a recommendation for a quality, bonded transport company?

Use the SEARCH bar in the upper right of this site and type in the words "vehicle transport".

there was a tread on this

No deals. Shopping make you nuts.

Try Yesterdays Tractors dot com and go under the Hauling schedule on the right side of the Forum. You can post on there, lots of Tractor and cars guys hauling stuff around the county...

I would try uship you set up an auction with your requirements and you can evaluate the bids. Yes you pay for their overhead but you can get exactly what you want

Tell us who you used, cost, and how it went.

In order to complete this thread I promised to give details of the transport. Seller was nice guy, collector and helpful. He suggested using his go-to transport, Peluzzo Exotic Transport (Pa to Ill.). Seller advised that they personally transported their contracts and were reliable. Arrange transport for $900. Peluzzo then subbed out to some other firm (Alpha). Vouched for quality. Picked up late. Delivered late in a snowstorm. Not gonna bash anyone. Car is here. Price was agreed. I think if a transporter should advise if they will sub out. Couldn't find anything online about the sub. Somewhat nerve wracking, but hey.....

Beautiful car. Sub out by transport seems almost unavoidable. Thanks for the details.

Again, NICE!!!!!

And, an A/C car to boot, The way I look at it, is, 1967, L code 4 spd, w/o A/C, or an L code auto c/w A/C are the two most desirable first gens in my book. A j code is always top, of the heap, however, the L code would be a little more economical!!

Enjoy your car!!!!!!!!!
