well last day before the show, I made it, got the stripe on last night and tweaked out a few minor details, didn't turn out too bad, weather is gonna be dishing out some snow today and a little windy thursday for the ride down about an hour trip from here weather permitting. well hope to see a few of you guys down.

Sweet. Several of us Mopar maniacs are coming from mid Michigan Friday. Look forward to meeting you and seeing the car.

well , my car and I made it there and back unscathed, Was an incredible experience, my first car show I've ever taken a car too. I must of talked to a thousand people. It was a big hit, met some very cool people with stories of memories, about being in those cars when there kids, selling them for peanuts back in the 70's and 80's. there were kids from 8 to 80 drooling over the car. I would like to thank the people here at FBBO for the help, direction, parts, services, and even criticisms,(you know who you are :icon_fU: :poke:. just kidding. also will be looking at to buy a 69 coronet rt all original, in the short future will just have to jump the hoops to get it back from Canada. Thanks to all again! :usflag::moparsmiley::thankyou:

I was in quite a large class, cars from literally all over the world. my trophy was the people i talked too, I left before they handed out all of them so who knows probably not, they didn't have a drywallers class build anyways. :poke:

Sorry I missed meeting you. Where your car was located, was near the end of our path through the show. Causing us to get there around 4:45 or so. I must say it was a great looking Charger. It wound not surprise me if you had gotten a class award. Congrats on a great car. Maybe we’ll see you at Mopars at the Red Barns this summer.

Wow, That is one beautiful car! Congratulations on an awesome build, I know you are proud. You should be! And thank you for sharing it with us.

Now, quit lolly gag-en around and get that next project and thread started, so I have something to read! :moparsmiley:

yes that was a bummer we missed each other I had not eaten all day and the 7$ bratwursts didn't look to healthy. I will be a several shows this summer with my son-in-law, frankenmuth for sure, didn't really think about the red barn show at hickory corners, but will try to get it around to as many places as possible this year while its still new. thanks again Ken.

Thanks Don appreciate your comments, I got another one already its a 1970 duster from colorado, originally a lemon twist car. looking into more of a hot rod driver beater racer combination of some sorts. thinking of a cummins twin turbo, but that is a **** load of work, and would require a complete frame. but won't be nearly as pretty, so that will speed thing up. I wanna see some paint on that metal fabrication phenominal job of a charger you have.

well you better get to work! I had the option to drive out and have my son park the trailer a few blocks away, or wait there all night. Being toward the front of the building and the exit at the rear it would have been a long night. the roads were dry so I figured if the battery had enough juice in it from running the leds I was on it. so got loaded up and crossed my finger and two kind of week cranks bam she was purring. I have to say it was an absolutly fantastic experience driving her around several block downtown Detroit at night on her completed maiden voyage. it must have looked great at night. people were in the streets taking pictures and cheering all the cars on what a great experience!

Don,

Congratulations! You should be justifiably proud. These projects are huge undertakings, and many fail. Not only did you not fail, you produced an absolutely awesome car!

WELL DONE!!!
