Looking for a small block cam. Got a fresh 360, but has stock cam. Want something bigger. Running long tubes, 2800 stall, reverse manual valve body 904,8.25 with 3:55 gears. Csr weighs 3900 lbs. 28" tire. Want something to wake up 360 a little bit, but still be a nice cruiser.

Whatcha got?

I have a cam and lifters new in the box but I won't be able to get to it until tomorrow afternoon or so. I will see what I can do.

What is your compression ratio & heads.

Compression ratio is stock dish pistons so probably 8-8.5-1. Heads are stock 587 smog heads

I would love a mopar purple. Cam, but I think I would have to replace springs from the stock springs with the lift. Also will stick pushrods work? I trying to see what someone else has cheaper so I can afford new springs, locks and retainers if need, plus I need a double roller

Mine is a Hughes Whiplash SMC1326AL. I have cam and lifters both new in their original boxes. It's a fairly mild cam but has a aggressive idle. These photos are when I got it. It is still in my parts stash but I can dig it out if you need more photos. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Your probably lower than 8:1-1.
IMO, tool a Mike has a good cam for that low compression mill.

View attachment 907359There's a few Whiplash cam videos on You tube. They sure do sound great. Here's that cam in a 318. It will sound more radical in a 318 but you get the idea.
