I used to run air shocks and got rid of them a few years ago for coil over shocks. I love the ride and handling but the ride height is too low. I have R/T leaf springs that are about 8-10 years old. I do not want to go back to air shocks, so I tried the helper springs that attache to the leaf springs. They got me the height I wanted but they look like crap.

looking for suggestions on best way to raise the rear of the car. budget does not let me purcahse new, re arched springs. I know most people are lowering their cars but I like the look of a car that can actually clear a speed bump or drive into and area with a steeper incline. Im not looking for that 70's jacked up look but i want higher than stock.

have you priced having you springs re arched?

There's always shackles.....

definately no shackles. but i can buy new springs with a 1"-3' arch for about 400. (would be a 1" arch for me). but was trying to use what have. I can stay with the helper springs for now or spend 80 bucks and go back to air shocks. I just like not having to air up the shocks, and the coil overs have really helped the rear out in terms of traction and cornering. I have looked into adjustable coil overs, but they are expensive and not sure if they would raise the car enough. It seems no one posts videos of mopars with these types of changes to view

How much are you trying to gain?

Ask around your area if any Mopar guys have some springs lying around and add a leaf or two.
If you were closer I would give you what I have.Usually I add the second leaf from the main leaf.

See the difference between the top photo to the bottom. About a 2'' lift. I added 2 leafs.Cost was my time,4 new U bolts and 2 center bolts bought at the local auto part store.

I have done the same. Take used leaf sections of the proper length and mix and match. It is time consuming but very low cost.

You two nailed my next response.

nice, love the height. I will check around, a friend of mine may even have some.
