Nation's Wealthy, Privileged Gather To Lecture Nation On Evils Of Wealth, Privilege

article-3767-1.jpg

HOLLYWOOD, CA—According to sources at the 91st annual Academy Awards ceremony this evening, the nation's wealthy, privileged elite gathered to lecture the nation on the horrendous evils of wealth and privilege.

The wealthiest 0.00001% of the nation arrived at the exclusive, walled-off, high-security event in limos and luxury cars driven by servants in order to spend a few hours telling the nation's poor and middle-class citizens how they need to throw off the yoke of oppression put on them by the wealthy elite.

"It's the white, privileged, wealth hoarders that are ruining America," said one white, privileged man whose net worth is estimated at $160 million. "All you people in the cheap seats at home: you need to do better."

"America is just a terrible nation with no opportunity," said one woman who made $100 million wearing costumes and reading words someone else wrote off a page. "We must stop the 1% from hoarding all the wealth." Upon being informed she was well within the 1%, she clarified that it was actually the 0.000001% who are the problem.

Unfortunately, it looks like the event will proceed as planned next year as well.

I don't watch that crap, nor do I care about the overly privileged spewing their political point of views!

I didn't, but I saw clips on the news this morning, particularly Walking Pheonix's speech. If that clown wasn't an actor he'd be homeless or a mass shooter.
I agree, it awfully coincidental that his best work was a story about mental illness.

I had the TV on while I worked around the house. It was awful!
Pretty much non stop political correctness, which makes me gag, but what amazed me was the complete lack of talent in the presenters and entertainers. The worst, I think, was a duet between Maya Rudolph and Kate McKinnon from SNL. I’m a fan of both, but this was absolutely terrible! Elton John and M&M gave performances that were halfhearted, at best.
And Wacky Phoenix’s speech was rambling, self serving, and, well, boring. And this was the most understandable that he’s been in a long time.
I don’t care what it costs, bring Ricky Gervais on board to M.C.

Equally as coincidental that the other Joker also won an Oscar for the same character and he killed himself.

Hey Walking, we're pulling for ya'!

A bunch of self serving hypocrites. Besides eating more veggies I wonder what else they do for our doomed society....

I agree.
I think the swag bags were worth $300,000.
Curious how many of them were donated to charity?

I don't watch the crap either! I would've loved to see Billy Crystal do the same to these A-holes last night!

Never watch the Oscars. Have no reason to. They are all pampered hypocrites......

And they gave the Obummer's a Participation Award to top it all off. They are a great match.

Simply put...Why does anyone even care about them. Follywood hasn't produced a film worth my hard earned $$$'s in years let alone any credible actor either. Just tabloid BS and yet the sheep'le just salivate and eat this crap up!!! I mean nothing but sex and skin and delusion ramblings from someone that is so clueless...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

My Microsoft Edge feed has that crap. Who "stunned" wearing which dress, which film got snubbed for another equally awful film...just more uncontrolled chatter and self important drivel.

 Ricky was great at the Grammys.

BTW...I watched until Taika received his award...being a fellow Kiwi. The guy was lost for words, but he really deserved it.
Disappointed by Brad Pitt's speech....had to take it to the political level. I don't think I can watch his movies now without some sort of disdain...much like any DeNiro movies. A shame really, because I liked the Focker series.

Lol!!

All the same can be said about politicians!!!

All that does is make me sad that I’m an ignorant poverty stricken deplorable. My white privilege doesn’t even come close to making up for my sadness.

Yawn !!

who cares

I certainly don't & won't watch
I'm not alone it seems either
nobody really even watches them LOSERS/********
from Hollyweirdo's land anymore, scripted socialist awards shows

for the past 3 years now, some of the lowest rating in decades,
(less that when the McCarthy hearings 1950's, were outing the socialist/commies)
It's like all their self serving awards shows today
it just keeps going down the drain, like a huge turd
