I'm not the one , **** I would love to have a wolf ,hell I had a couple red fox that hung around at the barn with our horse's

Fifteen large to pound a wolf? Wow. They come right into town here and eat dogs and cats. I can’t speak for other provinces but the hardest part up here would be because he’s not a Canadian citizen he would have to hire a guide. Providing that he could even find a guide the hardest part to hunting here is temperature and access. During the time of year good for hunting wolves minus twenty would be a warm day. There aren’t many roads here so it involves lots of snowmobiling. In minus twenty.
In the fall you can call them in with a varmint call. It’s a lot warmer then so the hides aren’t as desirable.
Never heard them called grey wolves; locally there are timber wolves and arctic wolves. I guess a timber wolf would be a grey wolf. Arctic wolves are quite a bit bigger, generally paler in colour. The paler a wolf is the more it is worth.

Like I said to the guys at work bull **** ,thanks

I lived on a lake in Alabama from the 7th grade until I was 20, and did a lot of fishing, running trot lines, etc. All the fish I caught went into a pool of a fresh water spring on our property. The weekend people came to their cabins on Fridays and went back home on Sunday afternoons. There were a bunch of men that brought their mistresses, telling their wives they were fishing for the weekend. I had a good thing going selling strings of fish to them on the way home. Got paid good because they knew I knew what was going on. A price for the fish and a tip to keep my mouth shut. Gray Wolf???????

Sounds like he needs to buy a pelt one of these times to keep his story intact

IMO, any animal looks better alive then in some wall with his head severed, we are the only species that kill for fun, we do not eat wolves we do not need to hunt them down m, let the majestic king of the forest alone

he might be full of crap about the price, but not about hunting wolf. I’ve hunted black bear, moose, caribou and mountain goat from B.C. to Newfoundland and Wolf tags were cheap. They’re beautiful animals and look great in photographs. They’re great hunters and the purpose for the cheap tags was to encourage hunting to reduce their population.

Take a hunting knife and chase them through the woods. That would be hunting. Hiding and stalking them with a rifle is cowardice.
I hope that you eat what you hunt.

Sorry to offend you Ironbuilt, just responding to Snakeyes since he’s help me in the past. For the record I don’t hunt with a rifle.

Eat me.
Hiding and shooting them with a rifle is how I, and many others feed our families. It’s not a sport.
Not everyone is a self righteous urban snob. Some of us actually eat from the land, like we have for generations.

I'm not an urban snob pussy. I say that we hunt Canadians like you hunt wolves. Even the playing field and you wouldn't survive 10 minutes in the wild. Just like your butt loving PM Trudeau.
