I took the nozzle off and when I hit the throttle very little fuel goes past the needle in the hole and the needle doesn’t move. Barely a dribble comes out. The pump arm is very tight and doesn’t move the pump arm. I’m assuming the needle is stuck in the hole. What’s the best way to dislodge? It’s a brand new Holley 770 cfm avenger.

So the needle moves but it’s like the passage in the metering block is restricted. With the bowl off the pump squirts fine.

I concur....the accelerator pump passage is thru the center of the metering block gasket and thru the fuel bowl gasket....either gasket if it overhangs the passsges, the flow will be impeded. Just my opinion of course.

Seemed to be clear.

Might want to pull the cover off the accelerator pump. Maybe there is something wrong with the diaphragm.

Nope. I removed the bowl and it shoots 10’.
I already ordered another from summit.

IMO, put it back together and return/exchange it for another. Why try to "fix' a NEW carburetor that you just bought?

I can’t see the hole for the pump channel through the gasket in the picture. It looks out of line.

I agree, it's hard to tell with that picture even blowing it up a bit.

Yours on the left should look like the picture on the right Sonny..........

If the bowl gasket is right, maybe there's just a piece of gasket material under that shooter nozzle valve, or like said previously, the gasket behind the metering block is bad.
