1970 Hemi GTX auction by State of Oregon - anyone seen this?

..other than the over the counter washer jug with the cap backwards. Wonder where this one will end price wise...

Man, that's what I was thinking too Fran. So sad if true....no heirs? No will? Did the state do the same with
his personal effects, his property?
Depressing to think of a fella dying alone....

I see that done here in Canada all the time.Old guy passes away alone and no relatives can be found or they don't want to deal with it and the government gets the works and auctionis it all off online.Never seen a Hemi GTX until now, though.

I like the survivor vibe on that car.Personally I'd fix the front seats, get it sorted mechanically, clean up the roof, and drive it pretty much the way it is.
I just need to find a big bundle of cash laying on the ground in the next few days and I'll be set.

You wouldn't have to search if you'd just use the link I provided in my initial post above...
takes you right to it.

Uh, I have no problem with your link. I was asking about the Proxibid site. Never heard of it. Is it something new? And 12 days and so many hours before the "LIVE AUCTION" starts? So how does that work? Why freaking bother to bid on the online site?

too bad I don't have any extra $$$

looks to be solid

Over on Moparts they said with the 13% auction fees,it was $146k Total. Strong money for an unrestored car.

Do the GTX models not have side scoops like a road runner? I haven't seen one with Sport Satellite chrome C inserts before. Added later?

Someone needed that 70 Bad:rolleyes:

I like unique, if I had more money then I knew what to do with I’d buy it...pretty hard to beat color and option wise. All the boxes are Checked on this one for me. Love it.

I know this is an old post but i'm just seeing this and the car was close to where i live. A guy i bought some parts from recently was friends with the owner of that GTX and bought out part of his estate (several cars and quite a few mopar parts). He told me the guy also had a 426 hemi and the state took it too. Evidently the guy died and didn't have kids or a wife. I might actually have the 7174 hurst shifter from this car because i bought it from his parts not too long ago. I didn't see a pistol grip though but i'm going to ask the guy if he might have it somewhere.
