The rain stopped yesterday, the temperature was in the 50s & roads dry so we meandered about up-valley taking all the cross roads I came across.
On the way down I saw a big truck with cars painted on the side of it crawling up the hill and wondered what it was doing here.
Larkmead provided a photo op.
& off we went again.
As I neared home I noticed these Porsches in a parking lot & thought to have another look...
Around the corner was the big-rig I had seen about an hour & a half earlier.
I stoped and spoke with the driver who said these beauties were going home to INDIANA.
After some chatting about the Charger he asked if I could help push the Packard on to the ramp. Naturally I replied "of course" & parked the car & did.
I took a few more pics & headed on home.
'Twas a great outing and one of the last for this year, I'm sure, so I was greatful for the nice weather. The car ran great but I am now on the cusp of deciding whether or not I 'need' a SS transmission...
'Needs' and 'wants' are often very nearly the same thing, aren't they!
